New places, unfamiliar sounds and previous experiences can make grooming difficult. My small, quiet setup means your dog is never passed between staff, placed in a cage or left waiting.
Before your visit, we’ll talk about anything that worries them. During the groom I watch their body language, offer pauses when needed and keep handling clear and gentle.

Before your visit
My dog is anxious at the groomers: can you help?＋
Yes. I work one-to-one in a quiet room and allow extra time for your dog to settle. Please tell me about their triggers and previous experiences when booking.
Do you use muzzles?＋
I avoid restraint and only use a muzzle if it is absolutely necessary for everyone's immediate safety. I will always discuss this with you.
Can my dog be groomed if they're matted?＋
Usually, yes. I will assess the coat and choose the kindest, safest approach. Severe matting may require a shorter cut rather than prolonged brushing.
How long does a groom take?＋
A full groom is usually around 1 hour 30 minutes. I work at your dog's pace, so nervous dogs may sometimes need a little longer.
Can I stay with my dog?＋
Clients are asked to come alone unless arranged in advance, as dogs often settle more easily without distractions in the room.
